Degue Glass was originally set up by David Gueron in Compiegne North of Paris. With the explosion of Art Glass he moved into the middle of Paris in 1926 setting up Verrerie d'Art Degue Glassworks along with a Gallery in central Paris to promote and sell Degue Glass. Much of Degue Cameo Glass was based on Natural Forms - Flowers/Foliage. Much of Degue Glass was produced for the Upper Classes of the time. Despite the success of his own Designs and Degue Glass, David Gueron was taken to court for replicating designs of Schneider and Muller Fres. The six year long battle took a big toll on all companies financially.
