One of the first books released by the new company Valiant, many copies of this book have weak splines and prone to splits along the spline. later Valiant would work to change the cover paper stock to stop this tendency. Magnus Robot Fighter , for example had better paper stock for its covers. Valiant also changed paper for interiors making some books heavier and giving them a wavy pattern rather than the lie flat in Harbinger ( Shadowman and Solar) giving them a thinner profile.
