The Beach Boys packed their gear into a couple cars and hit the road with the Wilson Boys father, Murray. it was their first National tour. The played small venues including the Famed "Surf" Ballroom in Clear lake Iowa(Site of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valen's & Big Bopper's last gig), Roof Garden Ballroom In Arnold's Park, Iowa and their first ever appearance in the Badger state was at the Indian Crossing Casino at Waupaca, Wi.
