Piston Seal Replacement Kit for Vintage Conklin Nozac Fountain Pens

These seals are used in pairs; 40 pieces are included in our kit, comprising ten each in four different graduated sizes. These O-rings will stretch over the piston head, and seal tighter and with less friction than any other seals we've tried. The space between the rings provides a recess that can trap silicone grease, greatly reducing the need to relubricate. With rings of the correct size, the seal against the barrel wall is airtight, yet there is minimal friction.

We are currently providing seals in sets, with each set containing seals in four thicknesses, denoted as A, B, C, and D. These will fit nearly all Nozac piston-fillers, the only exception that we have found to date being the rare miniature size.

Use at your own risk, and do not force. A properly-sized seal should allow the piston to move with only modest resistance, with the seal contacting the inside of the barrel continuously all the way around, from the outside appearing as a thin, unbroken line.

This kit is identical to our European piston seal kit, listed separately.

Payment

We are glad to combine shipping charges on multiple purchases, but it is vital that the proper checkout method be used. When buying more than one item, use the Add to Cart button -- NOT the Buy It Now button. View your cart when you are ready to complete the purchase, and if the total shipping charge is incorrect, do NOT pay. Instead, click the Request Total link at the top right and we will send you a corrected invoice.

Terms of Sale

We strongly believe in full and explicit description of any condition problems or flaws, and in very conservative grading. We stand behind our descriptions -- buy with confidence.
