There is NO repeater controller included here, this listing is ONLY for the mounting box and fan relay.
I picture it this way to SHOW HOW the IDOM2 or IDOM3 or IDOM4 will fit inside the box with or without Voice ID board

*Box is now BLACK color

* box MAY or may not have mounting tabs on top cover, depending on what we have in stock.
USA made!

Buy USA whenever possible!

We found just the perfect box!
The box is a good fit for the ID-O-MATIC 2 or 3 or 4 board and voice ID, they require no other mounting. No need to glue or screw the board in, the box keeps the board well contained unless you wish to use your own mounting system. To program your controller, just remove four screws and remove top cover, do your programming and replace top cover and tighten up the screws or you can drill a hole right where you place the board so the USB connector is accessible.
Put a notch from the top down to pass wires or drill a 1/4" hole in the side where you want the wires that you will attach to the terminal strip on the board to exit
What do I do for myself: I use the side of a flat file to make a notch in the top edge of the box to fit wires, then a put the top on the box.
Very easy for YOU to do yourself!

What is a fan relay? The fan controller programming selection in the ID-O-Matic 4 controller allows for the control of an external fan but the current that can be passed through to the fan is only 200ma, so Radiodan has made available fan fan relay that can allow any voltage or current fan that you wish to use up to the ratings of the relay, 240 volts up to 7 amps!
The ID-O-Matic 4 is set for 120 seconds of fan time to run after last use of the repeater. This will save your fan bearing and power by only having teh fan come on during repeater use ad 2 minutes after last use the fan will stop. The time to allow the fan to run is programmable on the IDOM4.
After you adjust (if you wish) the fan run time, you need to tell the controller what pin of the green terminal strip of the IDOM4 to control this relay. I use the "CW" setting on the menu 4 "I/O signal polarity" menu.
Menu 4, submenu 7, select "C", then enter and don't forget to "W" write the changes to your IDOM4

To use the fan relay after you have programmed your IDOM4: Connect white wire to pin 4 and the blue/white wire to pin 2 of your IDOM4, then the relay is marked with black marks to indicate which terminals that will "open" or "close" to make or break the connection you make to your fan and power supply to run your fan.
The fan is only a switch that is controlled by the IDOM4.
YOU must supply your own fan, wiring, mounting and power supply for your fan.

Outside box size is approx 5" x 2.5" x 1", just enough to fit ID-O-Matic and voice board (or ID-O-Matic only) or ID-O-Matic and fan relay. This box will NOT fit all three modules

ID-O-MATIC and voice board are NOT included in this listing. We have them available in our eBay store in other listings
This listing is for the mounting box with screws and fan relay ONLY!

NO, this is ONLY O N L Y for the fan relay, BOX and screws!!
