DescriptionHere is the most exquisite georgian rare origional hand embroided velvet cuff bracelet. The bracelet measures one & threequarter inches wide by six & threequarter inches long. This bracelet is just fabulous & totally epitomises the quality of georgian jewellery & as with the time the amazing quality of detail & needlework, & these pieces are so hard to find now, especially ones of this quality in such good condition. The bracelet is made of dark brown velvet & silk lined & has then been hand emroided with the most exquisite embroidery by hand of a really beautiful floral scene, with tiny colourful beadwork, it really is a piece of work. The bracelet comes complete with a lovely gold coloured metal clasp, which looks to be gold, but is of some kind of early quality metal which is nicely engraved & this is its origional clasp, which is a push in clasp working well. This bracelet is totally origional to the georgian era & is in amazing condition for age, & could still be worn today. But as with this age, there is a tiny bit of damage to the beadwork, which could easily be corrected if need be & also on the join of the push in part of the clasp it has come loose in a couple of the joining holes on the clasp at the end to the velvet, which is literally only a couple of simple stitches, which i could do, but i have left it all origional, & the other end slight fraying but all of this is only mentioned for total accuracy & can be clearly seen in the pics, see pics. However this really is a beautiful piece of quality georgian jewellery in very good origional complete condition & a fabulous rare example from this period.
