M1 Helmet stencil USA 29th Infantry Division WW2

You are buying a decal stencil template that can be used on M1 Helmets to create the USA Twenty Ninth Infantry Division insignia.

29th Ind div stencil insignia: The stencil is made from very high quality acrylic vinyl with tacky backing, which in layman's terms means its re-usable! It is being sold to do one helmet which is two uses (blue and white), on the front of the helmet! However, we have been using one of these on several helmets and it is still going strong! The pictures below are of the stencil applied on a relic helmet prior to it being aged!

Brief Normandy Landing Unit history: The cross-channel invasion of France finally came on June 6, 1944, Operation Overlord, the invasion of Normandy. The 29th Infantry Division sent the 116th Infantry Regiment to support western flank of the 1st Infantry Division's 16th Infantry Regiment at Omaha Beach. Omaha was known to be the most difficult of the five landing beaches, due to its rough terrain and bluffs overlooking the beach, which had been well fortified by its German defenders of the 352nd Infantry Division. By nightfall, the division headquarters landed on the beach with about 60 percent of the division's total strength, and began organizing the push inland. The entire division had landed in Normandy by June 7.By June 9, Omaha Beach was secure and the division occupied Signy.

Full details on how to use the decal will be emailed to the buyer. Like all of our items 100% money back on the stencil, if returned and in this case prior to it being used of course!

The helmets in the pictures are not for sale but shows the stencil in use! Why try to make your own when this one will do several helmets, share it amongst your re-enactment unit!
