I have been in business since 1989. I have worked for years, apprenticing in Amish harness shops and fine harness shops. I have the training and experience to produce a high quality product. I am not just a guy with a riveter. It is hard to show the detail of my work through the pictures. The leather I use is some of the best bridle leather made. The cost of the leather is great, but so is the quality. The methods and techniques that I use, I learned from my experience as an apprentice and many years of operating my own shop in 1989. I edge the leather. This removes the sharp edge from the leather and gives it a smooth look.

I use gum traggicant to smooth the edges. I hand rub each edge, which takes the fuzz off of the edge, and leaves it smooth and almost shiny. This also seals the edge of the leather. You can see this detail in the pictures. Although this step takes a longer amount of time, it makes a aesthettic difference in the finished product.

I use oil dye to finish the edges, which adds greater appeal to the belt.
