Professional Hammer Style Crimper


This hammer style crimper will crimp lugs and terminal from 8 AWG to 4/0 AWG. Operation is very simple! On the back of the crimper is a lever you lift and move to the side which holds the crimp piston up so you can put the lug in the bottom "V" nest of the crimper. After the lug is seated you slide the lever over to release the crimp piston down onto the lug to be crimped. On the side of the piston are markings with the correct depth level to crimp to based on the size of the lug. You then hit the top of the piston with a hammer (some use it in a vice) and drive the piston into the lug until the correct depth is reached. There is a "+" shaped indentation on the tip of the piston which will imprint into the lug when it's crimped. After your crimp is complete, you again lift the lever in the back to raise the crimp piston and remove you freshly crimped lug. 

We've had many customers over the years really give high praise on this model of crimper. It is very portable and light weight making an excellent addition to your tool box. The crimper weighs about 29 ounces (1.8 lbs) and measures 4 inches tall and about 2.5 inches wide.

    Returns

Custom cable assembly products are subject to a 20% restocking fee as they were specifically made to order and create delays in reselling the same item.
