A Beautiful Antique Davenport Tazza - c.1850-70

Decorated to the centre with a Hand Painted Nautical Fishing Scene within a Decorative Gilt Frame. The rim and foot decorated with raised white foliage enhanced with gilt on an Aqua Marine ground. The edges are scalloped. This is a Super Piece that would be sure to enhance any home or collection - making an ideal gift - to yourself or a loved one.

Condition: In Very Good condition considering the age of this piece with no chips or restorations. The decoration is clear and vibrant. The Gilt is in Excellent condition with hardly any signs of wear and tear. There are a few small scuffs to the Aqua Marine ground. The hand painted central scene is in Very Good condition with some tiny, fine scratches which do not interfere with the Nautical Fishing Scene. There appears to be a fine hairline crack to the glaze around the foot of the Tazza
