There is a screw across the top closure that securely holds the coin in the bezel. The bezel has a soldered bail for hanging up to most 5.5mm chains. This bezel fits a coin that measures 40.6mm x 3.05mm. The bezel will NOT fit a 38mm Morgan or Peace Dollar or a 39mm 1 ounce Silver Round Coin.
