One Pre-made Solar Filter Sun Film for
60/70/76/80/90/100/../150mm Telescopes
To view the sun safely you will have to have a filter with an optical density of OD 5.0, which for photographers is ND100,000. This in fact means that only 0.001% of light is allowed through the filter. You can these days buy solar film and then mount it onto your telescope yourself, but the film is normally fragile. If it gets a scratch, you could potentially blind yourself. Crinkled foil could well spoil the image quality. You can buy pre-made solar filters, but they are expensive and relatively.
These pre-made solar filters are made from Baader Astro Solar™ Safety Film and you can find more information about this film from Internet. I was told they are one of the best on the market. With this high quality solar filter you will be able to see the true colour of the sun and much more……
It is very easy to use these pre-made filters, just push into your telescope objective and off you go.
The sale is for one pre-made solar filter for telescopes. I have these filters
for telescopes with different objective diameter: 60mm, 70mm, 76mm,
80mm, 90mm, 102mm, 114mm, 120mm and 150mm. I was told by my
supplier that the filter will fit any telescope with the same objective size. I
am not so sure as I am concerned that different telescope may have
different tube diameter. Thus I would like you to check the following
information before bidding to make sure the filter will work for your
telescope. As these solar filters will work as a cap to put on your telescope objective tube, it would be more accurate if you measure the tube diameter as different telescope with same nominal objective diameter may have different tube size.

Please measure your telescope objective diameters and let me know what size you need with your payment and I will make sure to send you the right product.
Note about the fitting diameter:
Several of my buyers have asked me about inner and outer tube diameters as it seems to be confusing. Please check the above two pictures and I hope this will help you to understand what I mean. This product is intended to get into your telescope objective tubes and the fitting diameter is shown by the first picture. However you may also put it as a cap from the outer tube wall and in this case the measurement is shown by the second picture. Thus it is true for one film its outer fitting diameter is indeed smaller than its internal fitting diameter.
