The empty cartridges are first visually & electronically tested to ensure the circuitry is intact; they are then completely disassembled and go through an ultrasonic cleaning along with the printhead nozzles. Then the HP 02 cartridges are filled with the same ink formulation as the originals, the internal back pressures are inspected for any possible shell leakage and they are once again tested for all electrical circuitry. Finally, they are run through an actual print test. If the HP02 inkjet cartridges pass our rigid standards, they have been remanufactured for your HP printer! The high-Yield black cartridge uses a formula of Pigment-based ink for archival print life and the color cartridge uses dye based inks for color stability.
