This brand new EVO 8/9 Carbon Hood Scoop will help to take in cool air from the outside and exhaust heat that would otherwise be trapped under the hood and can cause overheating issues in hotter climates or when pushing your car its limits. Significant cooling of 10-20 degrees or more in the engine compartment has been reported! The scoop is made from highest quality carbon fiber in 2x2 diagonal weaves. This is a direct replacement for the factory scoop and is designed to fit EVO 8 & 9 hoods only. Install takes a few minutes - just remove your factory vent and install new carbon one. You are still able to use the factory aluminum panel beneath the vent.
