1958 Gillette Fatboy adjustable double edged safety razor.

This razor is in great, lightly used condition.  Very minimal sign of ever having been used.  No plate loss is noted anywhere.  Adjustment knob turns freely, and clicks perfectly into all levels (1-9).  The Turn-to-open (TTO) knob on the bottom is smooth, tight, and the final 1/4 turn to lock the blade down works perfectly.

Case shows some light stress cracking near the back of the lid but no other noteworthy damage.  Hinges are intact and working properly.

This razor is made in the USA, and is date coded "D4", indicating that it was manufactured in October, November, or December (4th quarter) of 1958.  This would make an awesome gift for a man born in that time frame.
