This is the popular Tenshodo / Hanazono 12volt DC motor-bogie.
Offered in a choice of 5 different wheelbases, with various wheel sizes & types, these units have integral pick-ups & provision for extra power feeds. They need additional weight to perform at their best. (Approx 100 grams)
Spare wheelsets are now available = 10.5mm disk. 10.5mm spoked 12.0mm disk, 14.0mm disk. Call for details.
NOTE: To operate smoothly, these units need a gentle running-in period.
Can be converted to DCC operation - spare motor brushes & springs and gear wheels available too.
Mounting bracket also included.
Advice: To give their best performance, these units require weight applied to ensure good contact with the track. Unweighted, they may "stutter". Clean track is also essential.
