When my daughter stops oohing and aahing over this case she might let me see it, too! She is out of college now and helps with the business whenever she can. She has seen more than her share of doll furniture, clothes and accessories in her lifetime of helping me with our business. I had my case made with a finer-weight thread for the canvas (finer, higher denier) so it won't come unraveled at the corners like the competition's case! I know about it because I used to sell their case. Some are even made of nonwoven ''fabric.'' Our pattern means scuffs won't show as much. The fabric is 100% polyester so it is washable and won't hold on to most stains. The entire thing, except for the bed itself, can actually be washed in a washing machine! (not the bed because heavy paperboard is used inside for stiffening) and air-dried, not in a dryer. The competitors certainly cannot say that! TWO DOLLS EASILY FIT INSIDE!

There is just so much to explain here. I hope you can picture it well enough with the photos I have included. I will do my best:
  • Like what backpacks are made of, (NOT non-woven fabric like the competitor's case!) with a matching hot pink lining. 21 inches tall x 9 wide x 6-1/2 deep. TWO DOLLS DO FIT INSIDE!
  • On the outside there are two handles so you can carry it up or sideways. They are made of matching hot pink webbing that is 1 inch wide and securely stitched into place.
  • It has a clear window and two net pockets (with elastic at the top to keep things in) on the left side when it is open.
  • On the right side there are lots of things! First, working from the back in, there is one deep net pocket to hold her gear (the bed has been inserted into this pocket in the photo), and a hook-and-loop strap to hold the doll in place,
  • Then there is a middle "flap" that has pockets on both sides of it, too. The pockets have elastic across the top of them. There is a tab of hook-and-loop to close this pocket with that shows in the picture.
  • The bed is ingenious! It is all made of fabric with stiffening inside. It pops open in a flash and has a stiff trifold "mattress" covered with solid pink nonwoven fabric that folds open to provide the rigidity holding the bed open. There is extremely heavy paperboard inside this piece, about 1/8-inch thick so it should not ever get wet. It even has a loop so you can pull it to easily remove it once it is in the bed. Measurements for the bed are, open, 20 long x 11-1/2 wide x 7-1/2 inches tall. Fits TWO American Girl dolls of any size!
  • A separate matching sheet/blanket (20 x 17 inches) is included, as is a pillow (8 x 5 x 2).
  • A name frame is sewn to the outside for you to put your name or your doll's name on a card in the window!
  • EXTREMELY lightweight and easy to move around. Those wheels offered by other companies just seem to catch on everything--and what are you going to do if they break?
