1 of a number of antique - vintage copper engraved printing plates which all relate to Chemist - Pharmacy - Drug Stores ...and most will be for bottle - pot - drug jars labels... the last collector has said they are made by Thomas Waide & Sons of Kirkstall, Leeds..but other makers names are on the back of the copper plates at times..... some are fairly plain and others are more elaborate in design often with a Mortar & Pestle picture trade mark or monogram....the last collector has stated that some are the Only Example Known ... ideal for any of you into bottle collecting from certain Counties or Companies and equally as interesting to those of you into Chemist shop displays. I have taken a photograph of them through a mirror so you can read them easier.. so remember they are engraved in REVERSE.... I have NO duplicates so once they are gone ...they are Gone !
Here is an antique copper printing plate for J.C. SOMERVILLE, 25 Common Green, Strathaven, Scotland.
The black print of the lable is torn off top right hand corner.
It measures approx 2. 3/4 inches x 2. 3/4 inches.
In overall good condition with age and use wear, see pics.

I post every business day (Monday to Friday). If you buy something and pay for it Friday noon or Saturday please be aware it will be posted to you on Monday as I am usually at a live auctions veiwing & buying on Saturdays. Once an item is the in the postal system any delays are out of my control, see the postage label to see the date it was sent.
- I accept returns within 14 days on all items sent back to me in the condition you received it in. If you are in any way unhappy with your item please ebay message me to arrange a return. Item(s) to be returned in its original packaging please. Please note if you or a third party tamper with, changes or repairs an item, this would automatically NULL AND VOID my full return policy, i.e. returns will not be accepted.
- If you return the item because you've changed your mind, and there is no error in the description, return postage will not be refunded.
- UK BUYERS I accept CHEQUES in UK Sterling, PAYPAL or Cheque payments will incurr a DELAY in despatch, of 6 working days to clear.
