The Heavy Duty Vass-Tex 350 'TEAM VASS' Edition smock features redesigned colour combination, reflective print on both shoulders and arm (for safety when fishing at night) as well as usual features that the standard Vass-Tex 350 highly proven smock offers.
Often referred to as the the Heavy Duty One! Many fishermen (particularly sea) experience heavy rains and winds during fishing and found that their current waterproofs aren't quite as waterproof as they expected. This is one of the reasons Vass developed the Vass-Tex 350 range to ensure our wearers are protected from the rain, wind and extreme water sprays.
Vass-Tex 350 Smock Edition 3 now features a Velcro Fastening collar (previously press-studs) and rienforced outer seams as well as pocket flap upper seam.
The hood on the edition 2 and 3 is enlarged to allow extra room for wearing a warm hoody and peak cap underneath (see about image example).
It's Heavy Duty yet unusually Flexible & Tough however remarkably stretchy (up to 15%) to ensure comfort without restriction when casting. Vass purposely haven't used a winter lining in this smock so it can be used through the winter or summer leaving you the choice of layering underneath.
Recommended layers underneath waterproof clothing would include Micro-Fleece base layer (as used in climbing) or sweatshirt type cotton blended materials.
