This is a stunning sterling silver MACARONI SERVER by DOMINICK & HAFF in the rare "RENAISSANCE" pattern, issued in 1891. The pattern displays the face of the North Wind. This serving piece is in great estate condition with just several crimped edges on the sharp portion of the piece (see photos). It measures 10 1/2" in length, weighs 138 grams, and the serving portion has a beautiful gold wash (there is one tiny spot). There is an Old English style initial "h" within the cartouche on the front handle. The retailer's name, Shreve, Crump & Low is engraved on the back together with the Dominick & Haff mark and "sterling". (Please excuse any reflections on the photos).
