These are the original Spitzfire jigs by Northstar Tackle and are distributed to only a few wholesalers in the upper midwest. The custom hand-painted quality is unmatched by the numerous knock-off jigs out there.
Each jig is hand-soldered using a Mustad hook on a high quality nickel-plated blade, which results in much more light reflection than most other jigs that are roto-cast in solid lead or tungsten steel. This results in a tremendous amount of flash compared to the competition.
And never forget these jigs work as well in open water, during any season, as they do through a hole in the ice. Especially effective on spawning panfish in the spring!
