Vortex Black Hard-Coated Sprockets are proven to last at least 30% longer than standard aluminum sprockets. The Hard-Coating is applied via a chemical treatment process that bonds the coating with the aluminum for the ultimate in durability. The Hard-Coating also has a higher resistance to corrosion than standard anodized sprockets.
Computer designed and machined from the highest quality 7075 aerospace aluminum, this sprocket is saber tooth grooved for self-cleaning. This sprocket will work with a 525 chain/sprocket (factory) setup.
