Handy Hints!

Try these steps below to help troubleshoot your existing remote: 

1. Remove the batteries from the remote control for about 5 minutes.

2. Press each button on the remote control twice.

3. Put the batteries back in ( avoid Duracell ), making sure polarity is correct and test.

4. For a more comprehensive remote test, use the camera feature on a mobile phone and point the remote control to the camera.

5. Press the buttons that are not working and check the LCD screen of the camera if you can see light coming out from the IR receiver of the remote control.

 

If there are no lights when a camera is pointed at the remote control, it may mean the following:

1. Remote control needs new batteries.
2. Buttons are burned out and you need to get a new remote.
