Assemble the required tools
- Hobby knife
- Flat head screw driver
- Spline roller
These tools are not included as standard but available in our eBay Store if required (click here)
Step 2.
Using the screw driver gently lever the existing spline from the frame, it is easiest to do this near a corner.
Step 3.
Remove the spline and old filter, wipe the frame with a damp cloth to remove residual dust and dirt.
Step 4.
Place the new filter on the existing frame, ensure there is some overlap on all sides. If the filter is too large it can be trimmed to approximate size with scissors.
Step 5.
Starting in one corner place the existing or new spline into the channel of the aluminium frame
Step 6.
Using a spline roller push the spline down into the frame, ensuring there are no gaps on the inside edge of the spline which could allow unfiltered air to bypass the filter.
Step 7.
With a hobby kife angled into the aluminium frame trim any excess filter material frome the frame.
