Iconic Seiko diver 6309-7040 'Turtle'. Modified with custom bezel, crystal and hands.
-Stainless steel case, brushed, about 43.5 in diameter in great condition, with minor marks.
-6309 automatic movement, runs strongs and keeps good time.
-Custom coin-edge bi-directional bezel. (DLW). Similar to the iconic 6105 divers.
-Custom double domes hardlex crystal 'Type 2'. (Same as on classic Seiko 6105 divers).
-Custom military-ladder style luminous hands. (I personally prefer these to the polarizing design of the original arrow hands...).
-New replacement 'Scubapro 450' dial (lume is not as strong as on the hands).
-The watch comes with a seiko rubber strap as well as premium black nato 22mm strap.
In addition, this set includes:
-The original Seiko bezel.
-Custom solid matte black bezel insert. (No markers).
-The original hardlex crystal.
-A set of custom 'Seiko Tuna' style hands.
-A set of new 'Seiko Turtle' hands.
Overall condition is very good, for a vintage watch, this is a great set for anyone who's into modding seiko divers, and a great lookig piece.
