There is a long chocolatey coloured streak running along the entire length of the fretboard that is absolutely gorgeous!

If you can read the spec sheet in pic 12 its an AAA rosewood board and it certainly looks it.

It also has the lovely matching olympic white headstock which is so appealing on these instruments.

Other highlights include - an extremely comfortable quatersawn U shaped maple neck with a dirty worn look, 7.25 radius , stunning cracked and checked nitro finish (that has yellowed beatifully over the last 5 years - although this aspect unfortunately was very difficult to capture in my pics) - highly resonant alder body - period correct reverse tuners , etc. 

The bass comes with the original bridge and pup covers and original fender custom shop case (good condition but with some paint marks on the outside),cert. and some candy.
