1980s HORNBY TRAIN SET

Offered for sale is this vintage Hornby Electric Train set dating from the 1980s.  This was acquired from a house clearance and it appears to be in a complete and unused condition.  Even the card tunnel is still in the original flatpack condition, ready to be built.  I have put the set together to check that the engine and carriages work correctly, nothing is seized up.   I used a controller from another train set as the one in the box does not have a plug on.  I cannot test the controller so do not know if this works.  

JUST FOUND ORIGINAL SHIPPING RECEIPT IN BOX DATED 1981.
