This is the latest version of the Battenkill series with a sealed drag system

This may very well be the best Battenkill that Orvis has produced.

Machined from aircraft grade aluminum with a Delrin handle.

Comes from the factory set up for left hand retrieve, but you can switch it to right hand retrieve with the tool provided.

The inbound / outbound clicker is loud enough for you to tell what the fish is doing.  It is louder than a Hatch reel, but it is not as loud as a Hardy JLH (which I prefer since I do not use hearing aids while fishing).

Color is Black Nickel

Mid-arbor design with a Diameter of 3 1/4 inches gives you more space for backing and line without maxing out the space on the spool.

Rated by Orvis for 5-7 weight lines, but I listed it as 4, 5, & 6 weight lines to give you more space for backing.
