The Alchemist takes the boutique USA Bogner tone and makes it available to the general gigging public via the overseas build.
This amp starts off with an all tube design- dual 6L6's and 5 12ax7's- these set the stage for impressive cleans, crunches, and lead tones.
Ths Alchemist is essentially a 3 channel head- channel one offers both 'clean' and 'crunch' choices as well as Bright and Deep switches in addition to the 3 band eq.
This offers up a lot of tonal versatility as well as enabling you to set up a rhythm and lead between channel 1 & 2.
Channel 2 has the quintessential Bogner overdrive- perfect for heavy rock rhythms and sustaining leads.
This channel has its own independent 3 band eq as well as Punch, Bright, and Midshift switches.
At 40 watts, this beauty has some fantastic chunk, but you can also drop it down to 20 watts and push the output tubes for true tube overdrive.
To bring your guitar upfront for leads, there is also a Boost which is footswitch selectable.
To make this amp even sweeter- 2 of the most used effects come right onboard- Delay & Reverb and each have 3 selectable flavors(delay also has a Tap button).
On the back you have a parallel effects loop with level control.
Everything you need for the studio and stage.
