This listing is for a Westinghouse Tube Stereo Hi-Fi Amplifier, made in 1962, with Single Ended EL84/6BQ5s driven by a pair of 7025s. You could use 12AX7s instead, but why would you replace the special low noise version? The rectifier is a 6CA4.

It was pulled from a Model HF-1053B Stereo Console and has two RCA leads for line level input, two sets of speaker leads, a power cord and an amphenol connector for exporting power to the record changer. One noteworthy feature is that the two output transformers have their coils oriented in planes that are perpendicular to each other. This is unusual and it would be interesting to explore whether this improves performance in any way.

Prior to removal, the console was brought up on a Variac and the amp was tested. Music was heard through both channels and the volume tone and balance controls all appeared to operate. The controls will need cleaning with DeOxit and you should expect to have to replace any necessary capacitors or out of spec resistors, add a fuse and polarized plug and any other necessary work prior to using it. As with any vintage amp, components can fail at any time. It is therefor sold as-is, as a restoration project.

This is the only one on ebay - don't let it get away!
