Travel back in time with this vintage electric guitar case. It is obviously a Flying V case, but I'm not sure of the brand. As I got it from the family of a late Ibanez collector, I would reasonably guess that it was an Ibanez Flying V from the late 1980s or early 1990s. This is for the old school Gibson-style Flying V, not the late Jackson Randy Rhodes-style Flying V. There is significant ordinary use wear all over the black Tolex exterior, with various rips, tears, and scrapes. The inside is in good, but used, condition. All the hinges and latches work. No key for the lock. It's hard to measure the inside of a Flying V case, but I'll do my best. The maximum length from tip to tip is 16-1/2". From inside tip to inside tip, it's 14-3/4". The inside measurement of the V's are 11". The overall length from tip of headstock to inside crotch of V is 38-3/4". The overall length from tip of headstock to end of V is 41-1/2". The inside case hinged accessory panel is in good functional shape. Inside is lined with fake grey fur. Though the outside of the case is worn, it is in structurally solid and functional condition.
