In pencil notation on the inside of the half leather case is written her first name and last name of Wells, aged 14 years and a reference to her sister aged 12, but without her picture included. Dated August 23, 1865. Excllent ring of tarnish highlights this splendid study of a young woman; original seals intact.(#1474)
