The Freya undergarment is based on found objects around Haithabu, one in the 8th and 9. Century very important trading center for the Danes
The beautiful dress recreates a simple women's undergarment in the Viking tradition.
The petticoat is worn ankle length.
The undergarment is made of a robust, linen-like cotton fabric. The fabric used consists of 100% uncombed cotton, which gives the dress an authentic appearance thanks to its coarse texture. In addition, the material used makes it very comfortable to wear on the skin.
The underdress can be combined with our Haithabu throw.

When worn normally, the measured chest circumference should be 8-12 cm below the size to be ordered
If worn loosely, the measured chest circumference should be 12 cm below the size to be ordered
