- The triple-scale hydrometer is a necessary tool for any home brewer and is used for two primary reasons including determining the alcohol percentage of your brew and knowing when fermentation has stopped. This tool works with wines & beers but not spirits
-The alcoholmeter has a scale that goes up to 200 proof and is great for spirits but is not accurate with lower ABV liquids such as wine or beer.
-The handy test jar is alcohol resistant and makes testing practical and easy. PLEASE NOTE: The jar is plastic and may come with a Red Detachable Base depending on availability.
