BI-METAL THERMOSTAT ELMWOOD SENSORS 3100-177-5 L250

ALSO MARKED 88/38   THIS IS A THERMAL SWITCH

LOT 5 PCS

NEW OLD STOCK

A TRUSTED CUSTOMER TESTED THESE AND REPORTED THESE RESULTS: I did check your switch last night.  I used a FLUKE digital  meter with probe good to 1500 degrees , oil in pan on range, raising and lowering temp several times
IT IS:::
NC-normally closed
opens at 265 to 270 degrees F
closes again at 245 to 255 degrees farenheit
it has like a teflon coat over the wires very tough and slippery to strip off , I bet it won't melt too easily.

This is also ONAN p/n 309-0496 , tagged SWITCH - HATKO CONT.

You are bidding on 5 PARTS SEALED IN the original plastic package.  I have a large stock of these and opened only the one package for pictures. You will receive a sealed set of five as pictured.

They are 10-1/2" long with the leads.  The red rubbery cap is very pliable and soft , no sign of aging.  Mounting holes are 1" centers.  The sensor unit is 11/16" x 1-3/8" and the round part is 5/8" diameter, approx 5/8" high.

I believe this additional information from the Honeywell website to be helpful.  I can't though guarantee that these sensors are exactly those described in the specs.

Elmwood's bimetal thermostat product line consists of Single-Pole, Single-Throw (SPST) hermetic and non-hermetic thermostats, including low-silhouette, logic level, auto reset, manual reset, one-shot, and subminiature thermostats and thermal switches. These products are also defined by their ability to reliably maintain precision temperature tolerances or high amperage electrical loads. They provide temperature control and overtemperature protection for the appliance, office automation, industrial, commercial aircraft, and medical equipment industries.

Bimetal thermostats are snap-action devices designed to operate in extreme conditions, such as exposure to hazardous substances, dust particles and liquid immersion. Contacts are thermally and electrically isolated. Dust-proof performance is achieved by using a ceramic or phenolic base protected by a metal enclosure. A variety of custom configurations are available which provide environmental protection.
