I am the worlds expert on these controllers. Beware of used controllers, most are already 20 years or older and bound to fail soon, even if it works now
There is another seller who claims their MC 70 is upgraded and sells for $199.95. It is pure rubbish! It is a totally different inferior controller so beware!
Considering a used controller? Look closely at the gray resistors on the one end. Most have turned whitish or orange
indicating a failure is going to happen soon if not already!

The MC 70 and MC 70 A controller is used in Image, NordicTrack, HealthRider, Weslo, Reebok, ProForm and Sears branded treadmills made by Icon Health and Fitness. Typical numbers on the board and mounting plate are 124438 (on board) 141914 (on bottom plate sticker).The bottom sticker will also have the manufactured date ex. W/Y 09/99 Week 09 year 1999. If you have talked to Icon about your problem they would have given you a part number that is exclusive for your particular model ex. 141877 150024 145168 but all boards marked MC 70 are the same otherwise. The controller is manufactured by Procond Elettronica or GE Power Controls.
When this board fails the walking belt doesn't move (on some it may try to move momentarily) but the incline will still go up and down. You may also see the error code E 2 or E 21 on the console readout. With the lower cover removed you will see 2-3 RED LEDs lit on the power supply board. When you press the start key the PWM light should start flickering. This tells us the console is working correctly. The board fails because of a heat related problem. The repair and upgrade corrects this and has been tested for long term reliability. We also correct other parts of the circuit known to fail over time. When completed the board is installed in a working treadmill to insure proper operation.
