The MAK-TBS Triumph Stubby 5.8GHZ antenna is upgraded from the current products of many other parties in the FPV world. Video Sky Systems, Inc. (IBcrazy) and the MAK-BlackSheep team together to recreate the appearance and performance of modern 5.8 circular polarized antennas.
In order to find the clearest video signal and the best range, the video air system and the BlackSheep team have gone beyond the traditional Cloverleaf designed curved lobes and devote a lot of time and effort to finding the best known antenna design for humans, Modified for use with FPV.
After extensive design and testing, a key focus is to ensure that triumph Stubby is durable and even take the most serious abuse. MAK-After many test flights and extensive feedback from pilots, decided to use double jacketed heavy duty semi-rigid cables and tinned connectors. In order to protect the triumph Stubby created a special foam filled and ultrasonic welded shell to ensure that the antenna from the inbound trees or other objects.
As the name implies, MAK-Stubby is a shorter, smaller, lighter design than the original Triumph antenna. In addition, SMA is now manufactured by TBS to ensure that the durability on this critical component is not affected.
