This auction is for a very clean original paint TR6R 3.5 gallon tank. This is not the slimline tank and is the correct color only for 1970. The black stripes are original, and the gold pinstriping is faded. There are no dents that I see, no rust damage other than surface rust on the inside. The badges are original and I do not think they have ever been off. They also have some dirt on them still.

This tank was stored indoors for decades in California and although it is not perfect it is very clean and nice. The paint will probably clean up better but I did not want to try to buff it as I am not a paint expert. The TR6 TROPHY 650 decal is also faded but it is still there. If you have a 1970 TR6R this is the tank for you. Not easy to find in this condition.

I have an Triumph engine shop and not a restoration shop. If you would like to see the tank in person you are welcome to come by the shop and examine it. I will ship it anywhere in the world as long as it is INSURED.
