Here is a very nice antique E. & H.T. Anthony N.P.A. Variation 4 5x7 wooden camera. It is made of very attractive mahogany wood. It has an unmarked brass lens with a rotating wheelstop diaphragm which works. The glass is clean. The front rise and fall and rear tilts work fine. It is missing the small tightener knob to secure the rear standard but it is not loose and holds its position fine where ever it is set. The wood does show wear from age. I have not checked the bellows but I would assume they have light leaks. The camera makes a beautiful display piece. I know the N.P.A. camera model is pretty much identical to the Champion model. I believe this one is an N.P.A. based on the quality of the wood but please look at all the pictures below. Check out my other auctions for many other antique wooden cameras and early brass lenses.
