I am offering a vintage collectible late 1950s made in West Germany Kodak IIIC Retina folding rangefinder 35mm camera with Schneider-Kreuznach  Retina-Xenon 50mm f2.0 lens in Synchro-Compur shutter and good condition Walz skylight filter.

This is the type 028 Retina commonly called "big C" to differentiate from the earlier IIIc.

This sixty year old camera is in good cosmetic condition. It has light scratches mostly on the paint and wear on the body covering which is slightly peeling in places. There's some dirt build-up.

The shutter sounded weak when I got it but I think it's improved with use. It works at all speeds at this time but I can't guarantee it.

Focus is smooth and the rangefinder lines up in the multi-frame viewfinder.
The uncoupled selenium meter responds to light.

The coated lens is bright and free of exterior marks. There is a small amount of dust visible inside the lens.

I did not test with film.

Please see my other listings. I'll rebate some shipping costs if combined into one package.

(If it isn't in the pictures or description it isn't included.)

Now that I've committed to the Global Shipping Program, I suggest that foreign buyers determine their total costs including duties and extra shipping before they bid.
I have tried to be complete and faithful in my description but this offer must be "as is". There are no warranties (other than the accuracy of the description) or returns. Please bid accordingly.

The last time I checked the condition of this camera the shutter wouldn't fire. I had to clean the shutter blades to make it work. (I could only do this on the front where the elements are easily removed.) I now think the problem is caused not just by weak springs but also oily deposits on the shutter blades.
