You are buying a new Li-ion replacement battery to fit certain Philips Philishave shavers, trimmers and clippers that use a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery.

This high-capacity rechargeable battery is fitted with thin wire pins designed for easy fitment and soldering. The thin wire pins will fit through the holes in your circuit board even if your original battery was fitted with flat-style solder tags. If you still require a battery with flat solder tags these are available through our listing for 42mm Li-ion batteries with flat solder tags.

This battery is only suitable for replacing other 3.6V or 3.7V Lithium-ion batteries of the same dimensions and cannot be used where the original battery is Ni-Cd or Ni-MH chemistry. Lithium-ion batteries can ignite if short-circuited so great care must be taken when handling and fitting to avoid short-circuits.

These batteries are 42mm long and fit some PowerTouch, AquaTouch, CareTouch and other shaver models that were fitted with 42mm long Li-ion batteries. Certain models of shaver were fitted with longer 49mm batteries which are available on our 49mm Li-ion shaver battery listing.

It is strongly recommended that you open up your shaver before ordering to double-check the battery measurements because different sizes were fitted to different batches of the same model. You must be competent at soldering to fit this replacement.

Our battery pins and tags are carefully welded into place using specialist, instant resistance-welding machines for batteries. Do not attempt to solder anything directly onto an untagged Ni-MH, Ni-Cd or Lithium battery as the heat will cause internal damage and the battery might combust.
