This is a  near mint Pocket watch that is unusual.

 The movement is swiss, made by H.L.Matile, and the case is hallmarked J.H. Mulford & Wendell,  Albany, NY.

 Both Mulford and Matile were watchmakers. 

 It's a very nice watch-  solid gold 16k - Men's large 16 size.

  

 This watch has seen little use.  The case covers open and close properly. 

 The case is approximately 50mm (2 inches)  at the smallest case diameter, excluding the bow and winding stem.

 From the base to the top of the bow measures approximately 70mm. 

 The  movement looks great -view the screws slots.

  The watch is not running. The balance wheel is will need repair.

 The front and back covers both opens to less than 90 degrees.

 The  case is in excellent condition, and hallmarked with an eagle which was  Electronically  tested and confirmed 16K solid gold-

 Guaranteed to be a 16K Solid Gold Case. 

 The bow is stiff.  

 The dial is absolutely beautiful and has some tarnished areas that i did not attempt to clean.

 The total weight of this watch is 80 grams.
