Many professional-quality cameras use large format film. The size of the imaging area of these cameras can record higher resolution images than current top-of-the-range digital cameras. A large format film image can record an equivalent of approximately 200 megapixels with 4x5 film.

Now have a look at this Speed Graphic. It’s in good condition functionally and cosmetically. It's totally ready for you to use. The bellows is clean, light-tight and tested. The folds are perfect with the shutter release under the bellows in very good condition. The ground glass is clean and intact.

This camera has a Graflok back, which accepts most standard types of film holders; Polaroid, Grafmatic and roll film backs.

The rangefinder is in very good working condition, clear with good contrast and calibrated to the lens.

This camera comes with a Optar 135mm f4.7 lens which is clean and clear with no separation. The elements are free from fungus, haze or scratches. The lens elements are in excellent condition and the X flash contacts are good on the shutter. The shutter works good at all speeds and has been tested. The focal plain shutter is in very good working condition and tested.

Many of my cameras are sold to professional photographers and the motion-picture industry. These buyers demand high quality cameras.  My cameras do not come with a laundry list of what is not working or missing.  All the cameras out of my shop are 100% functional and complete. Guaranteed to work for as long as you own the camera.

The last two pictures in my listing are: 1) WeeGee the famous New York Times press photographer of the thirties.

His apartment was across the street from the police station. Every morning they would bring everyone arrested that night on the street and he would photograph them.  And 2) my friend Dan Wagner in the same location with one of my cameras 70 years later and guaranteed to work for as long as you own the camera
