Active Ingredients

- Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) 10% 

- Zinc PCA 1% : A synthetic skin-conditioning ingredient derived from zinc. Research has shown it has anti-aging benefits due to its ability to thwart destructive enzymes in skin that can damage its surface and lead to an aged, wrinkled appearance.

- Hyaluronic Acid : HA is known to increase our cells’ ability to bind water, giving our skin a plumper and firmer appearance.

- Licorice(DPG) : Licorice root extract is a common ingredient used in many skincare products to lighten the discoloration or pigmentation. Glabridin, an active ingredient in Licorice root, has shown to possesses anti-inflammatory effects and inhibits tyrosinase, a key enzyme that is responsible for making the pigmentation.

What is Niacinamide?

Also known as vitamin B3 and nicotinic acid, niacinamide is a very effective skin-restoring ingredient that offers multiple benefits for aging skin. Among these benefits is the ability to visibly improve the appearance of enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines, dullness, and a weakened skin surface.

• Niacinamide can improve skin's elasticity (when used with a sunscreen).
• It can dramatically enhances skin barrier function through the increase in ceramides and intercellular lipids.
• It is thought to play a role in the prevention of the Maillard Reaction that occurs in ageing skins. As we age our sugars and proteins in the skin cross link giving the skin a yellow colour. Niacinamide can prevent this oxididation process from occuring.
• Topical niacinamide may be effective in decreasing pigmentation that is associated with the ageing process.
• Niacinamide has been proven to stimulate collagen synthesis and the epidermal proteins keratin. In addition, another study was able to show niacinamide's ability to increase dermal matrix collagen production.
• It stimulates microcirculation in the skin, giving the skin a healthy glow.
• It prevents the skin from losing moisture content through its ability to increase ceramides and free fatty acids in the skin.

Directions:

After cleansing and toning your face, apply 1~2 drops of serum at AM & PM.
