This is an Exakta II with early Schneider Xenon 5cm f/2 lens. Collectors call this a version 2. The body was made In Germany in 1949. Body Serial number 659041. The lens was made in Germany in 1937. Lens serial number 1134501. The camera and lens are working, but the slow speeds and delay timer is not working properly as is very common on these old Exakta cameras. The lens diaphragm and focus work smoothly. The waist level finder works fine and the ground glass is intact and looks good. The cameras curtains look good. I do not see any obvious pin holes. The Exakta nameplate has some wear and the lens glass has cleaning scratches. No fungus or separation.
This is a nice collectors item, but NOT in mint condition. I rate it as average. Please remember: on this model before you can fire the camera the finder MUST be opened.
