For the most part this beautiful garment made by, “Gordonia” is constructed from the very shiny, smooth Rayon Nylon sometimes called Art Silk. The upper parts on the breast cups are made from a see-through nylon. Between the 8 shaped panels of Rayon are 8 Baleen stays.
The given is 36”. Our unforgiving fibreglass Mannequin has a bust size of 36C/D bust and it fit perfectly! We think it would also comfortably fitted a 38” C Cup just as well.
This bustier appears hardly worn if at all and is in perfect condition.

1. Unless otherwise stated all our garments are totally original vintage, no REPRO! Moreover a lot of our items are old stock, that have been stored for many years and consequently some have acquired the odour associated with that condition. For aesthetic reasons we sell them as they are. If the smell is particularly bad, we will hand wash the item to remove the odour.
2. WASHING OLD GARMENTS: We would also like to point out that a lot of garments from the 70s and earlier were neither designed to be laundered using modern washing machines nor modern detergents!! PLEASE therefore, laundered your garments carefully using mild detergents and by hand!!

CONDITION:
1. If an item is not new we will always try to give as faithful a description of its condition as possible and if any include all known faults and repairs that we are aware of.
2. Vintage garments that are not new will virtually always be washed and or clean!
3. Some vintage and antique garments may be shop soiled and or have slight marks as a result of long term storage in our attic. If we think that the marks will come out after washing we may for aesthetic reasons of originality leave them as they are in their original state.
4. On rare occasions there may be very slight marks that may be impossible to remove. Again in this event we will always try to include these facts in our write-ups.
5. Sizes: Where there is no size label in a garment we will try and give a realistic guesstimate based on experience, actual measurement and how it fits our mannequin. We can not guarantee these guesstimates and if a potential buyer is in any doubt they should question us before placing a bid. Any buyers who don’t enquire and later ask for a refund on the grounds of giving incorrect information will not be looked favourably.
6. As per EU legislation; this is a private sale of privately owned items that carries no formal guarantees.
