An iconic shape at an affordable price, Guild’s Starfire I Bass is a modern adaptation of the traditional Starfire Bass platform, exemplifying the features needed on a modern Hollowbody bass. Featuring a slimmed down, 2.4” body thickness, inward-shifted neck, short 30 ¾” scale length, and a 1 ½” nut width, the Starfire I Bass is a compact and accessible option for younger players, or those who want more freedom on stage. Stable tuning and easy adjustability are provided by the Tune-o-matic bass bridge, and the harp tailpiece adds a touch of Guild’s classic aesthetic, likening the bass to its upright ancestors. Guild’s own BC-1 BiCoil pickups adorn the bass, complete with hum resistant nickel covers and Alnico 5 magnet construction. Combined with the woody nature of semi-hollowbody tone and the volume and tone control, these pickups allow the player to dial in anything from modern, cutting bass tones to wooly, round, vintage tones. Pull up on the Volume Knob to reveal the push-pull vintage switch—a feature that adds presence with rolled down low frequencies, reminiscent of the parallel pickup configuration on vintage Hollowbody basses. Available with maple top, back, and sides in Vintage Walnut, and with Mahogany top, back, and sides in cherry red. Left-handed version also available in Cherry Red. All in a perfectly glossed polyurethane finish.

For returns of any reason, please contact us first by eBay messaging or calling the number on our Kew Music Garage website (between 11am-6pm Mon-Fri) as we may be able to talk you through any simple issues you may be having.

‘CHANGE OF MIND’ RETURNS POLICY: KEW MUSIC GARAGE accepts returns and refunds for 'change of mind' within 30 days of you receiving your item. In the case of change of mind, the buyer pays and arranges for the return postage of your item back to Kew Music Garage. Once the goods have been returned and inspected to be in original packaging and 'as new' condition, we'll then arrange a refund to the buyer. All change of mind returns occur a 10% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your PayPal refund. Please do not purchase this item if you do not agree to these terms.

30 DAY WARRANTY' RETURNS POLICY: If your item is faulty or has an issue within 30 days of purchase date, Kew Music Garage will happily arrange and pay to have the item returned to us and have your item either repaired or replaced, then shipped back - all at no expense to the buyer.

'WARRANTY' RETURNS POLICY: All goods sold by Kew Music Garage are brand new and are covered by a minimum 12 month manufacturer warranty from purchase date. If your item has any issues outside of 30 days from the purchase date and within 12 months from your original purchase date, you may arrange with Kew Music Garage to return your item for either (at Kew Music Garage's discretion) a repair (if a minor issue), replaced (if not repairable), exchange (if item has major issue and cannot be replaced) or refund (if either repair, replacement or exchange cannot take place). Postage to return any items warranty outside 30 days from the purchase date is at the buyers expense. Kew Music Garage will happily cover the postage costs to return the fixed/replaced item back to you.
