This vintage walkman is from the year 1980.   I know this for a fact since it was a Christmas gift to me!    I took good care of it, but that being said, it does not work anymore.  When I put batteries in it, the light comes on, but no sound.  The knobs on the radio tuner appear to turn correctly, as do all the knobs on the body of the player.     This would be for someone that could either repair it or use it for parts.
