Predator Synopsis:
In the remote jungle of a Central American country, an elite group of commandos led by Major Dutch Schaeffer (Arnold Schwarzenegger), embarks on a CIA mission to clear out a guerrilla stronghold and rescue the remaining hostages. However, the hunters become the hunted when a highly intelligent, other-wordly being slowly and methodically starts killing off members of Dutch's team. Possessing a chameleon-like camouflaging ability and a deadly alien arsenal, the creature tracks down the soldiers one by one. Director John McTiernan's film is a thrilling high-action flick, filled with great one-liners (courtesy of Schwarzenegger, Jesse Ventura, and the rest of the cast) and excellent special effects. Dutch and his group of commandos are hired by the CIA to rescue downed airmen from guerrillas in a Central American jungle. The mission goes well but as they return they find that something is hunting them. Nearly invisible, it blends in with the forest, taking trophies from the bodies of it's victims as it goes along. Occasionally seeing through it's eyes, the audience sees it is an intelligent alien hunter, hunting them for sport, killing them off one at a time. -- John Vogel Predator 2 Synopsis:
