Berberis thunbergii 'Rose Glow' x 1 small
plant. Similar to one on two last pictures.
The Rose Glow Barberry (Berberis thunbergii 'Rose Glow') is that
rare triple threat in your landscape. Its color, ease to grow and usefulness
are unmatched.
This shrub is a show stopper for its stunning color. It has
variegated leaves of purple, pink and rose shades. The more sun it gets, the
more vibrant it appears, so choose your site accordingly. It can tolerate some
shade but its color will be very different, tending toward green with pink and
red accents. The sharp color stands out in the landscape but it is deciduous,
the leaves will fall off for the winter
Easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soil in
full sun. Tolerates part shade, but performs best with full sun. This is a very
adaptable shrub that is tolerant of urban conditions. Plants also tolerates
heat and drought, but are generally intolerant of poorly-drained, wet soils.
Plants spread slowly by creeping roots. Plants can also spread by self-seeding
(birds will eat the fruits and distribute the seed). Plant branches may root
where they touch the ground.
Mature Height 3 feet
Mature Spread 2 - 3
feet

10. Growing
your plants. Most of the seeds have
been test sown to ensure germination. Please familiarize yourself
with growing conditions and instructions for your seeds before you plant them,
as all seeds are different. Basic growing instructions can be found under each
listing.
Although
every effort is taken to ensure the quality of our seeds, packaging, and
delivery method, it should be noted that the germination of seeds is very
dependent on many factors including Light, Moisture levels, Temperature, Soil
conditions, soil pests, and many other factors. Please ensure that the seeds
you order are suitable for the conditions in which you wish to grow them as we
cannot be held responsible for poor levels of germination. The Cultivation
guide above is purely for guidelines. Local conditions such as soil temp will
affect how well any seeds germinate so always check locally as to seed
suitability.
The same
applies to plants. Please, know
your conditions and choose your plants wisely!
